Areas of dense fog have developed across the area this morning, with visibilities of 1/2 mile or less now common. Conditions are expected to hold past sunrise before improving around mid-morning. The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CST this morning.
