Update on San Anselmo critical incident

Police responded to a report of shots possibly fired at 46 Grove Hill Ave in San Anselmo. A person acquainted with the armed subject fled the house and is safe in our care. At this time the armed subject is believed to be alone in the house. The residents of about 15 homes on Grove Hill South have been instructed to shelter in place and an evacuation plan is being developed in case it is needed. No injuries have been reported. Crisis negotiators are on the scene.
