Dense Fog Advisory until 09:00AM Thursday
Areas of dense fog has spread inland across southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana this evening on southerly winds. Visibility will range from 1/4 to 1/2 mile and in some places near zero. Conditions are expected to hold through sunrise and finally lift during the late morning hours. The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST Thursday.
* VISIBILITY... will range from 1/2 to 1/4 mile with some locations falling to several hundred yards.
* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions...remember that children will be going to school on buses while other children will be walking to school and crossing streets.
