Princeton man arrested for driving on a suspended license.
On February 27, 2019, at 10:23 a.m. Deputy Garrett Tuley conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2005 Ford Five Hundred for an improper turn that was made by the driver onto State Road 65 from County Road 400 North. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Tuley identified the driver as 77 year old Wayne Johnson of Princeton, Indiana. During a roadside investigation Deputy Tuley ran Mr. Johnson through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that Mr. Johnson's license status was listed as Suspended on a prior driving while suspended charge. At that point Deputy Tuley placed Mr. Johnson into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Tuley was charged with Driving While Suspended/Prior. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
