DETAILS:  Ptl. McQuade was detailed to a residence on Gates Court for a burglary to the residence. Investigation determined the following: During the overnight hours, unknown actor(s) entered the garage through the garage door which had been left open. The interior garage door which provides access to the inside of the house was locked, and force had been applied to the door and door knob to attempt to gain entry. No entry was made to the interior of the home, but there was damage to the door.

DETAILS:  Patrol units responded to Target for an uncooperative male who Assets Protection was attempting to detain for Shoplifting. Prior to police arrival, Assets Protection personnel had successfully detained Charles Willis. Investigation determined that Willis had filled a shopping cart full of infant merchandise valued at $592.70. He then pushed the cart full of merchandise past all points of sale and attempted to leave the store through the entrance. Willis was also found to be a “Wanted” person out of Montgomery, Pennsylvania (PA). Willis was processed at WWPD Headquarters and then transported to the Mercer County Correction Center to await extradition to PA.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Fiore investigated an assault stemming from a road rage incident where the following was reported: A blue Hyundai sedan had cut in front of the victim’s  vehicle while on Meadow Rd. so he followed it into the MarketFair parking lot. The driver of the Hyundai, aware that he was being followed, suddenly stopped his vehicle, got out and walked to the victim’s car, and then punched the victim in the face through his open car window. The suspect then grabbed onto the inside of the victim’s car door causing damage as the victim drove away.

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to Target for a shoplifting involving multiple suspects. Assets Protection monitored a group inside the store, and ultimately identified Ahmia Tillery as the only one in the group who had shoplifted. Tillery had selected a purse from the rack which she then proceeded to fill with other store merchandise. She then paid for items she had in her shopping cart, but did not pay for the purse or anything that was concealed inside. Ptl. Jany and Ptl. Mahon took Tillery into custody, she was processed at WWPD Headquarters, and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to a crash on U.S. Route 1 at Washington Rd. A silver Toyota that was stopped in traffic for a red light was struck in the rear by gray Kia SUV.  The driver of the silver Toyota sustained a leg injury as a result of the crash. The driver of the gray Kia, Tiffany Toth was determined to be DWI. Because Toth caused an injury to another person while driving her vehicle while intoxicated, she was also charged with Assault by Auto. Toth was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Hojnacki was detailed to a residential burglary to a townhome in the Estates at Princeton Junction. Investigation determined the following: Unknown actor(s) used a patio chair from a neighboring home to climb up to the first floor window at the back of the residence. The window screen was cut, the unlocked window behind it was opened, and entry was made. From inside, the victim’s handbags which were hanging off of a dining room chair were rummaged through. U.S. and Australian currency from a wallet in one of the handbags was taken.

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to a single car crash on Deerfield Dr. A gray Toyota sedan drove over a curb and struck a tree on the side of the road. During the investigation, the resident was determined to be DWI, and found to be in possession of Oxycodone- Acetaminophen (narcotic) pills that he did not have a valid prescription for. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. He has pending court dates at Mercer County Superior Court and West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Buchanan initiated a stop on a grey Honda coupe for speeding 73 mph in a 45 mph zone. During the stop, Jaiidn Spence was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of raw marijuana, paraphernalia used to ingest raw marijuana, and a vape pen containing THC oil. Spence was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to a crash involving a vehicle which struck a pole. The driver, Nichole Brennan, was unsure of what happened that caused her to crash. During the investigation, Brennan was determined to be DWI. She suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Brennan was charged with DWI and has pending Court dates at West Windsor Municipal Court.
