Incident: Road closures due to flooding in Petaluma
Stony Point Road between Pepper Road and Petaluma Blvd North.
Rainsville Road near the KOA Campground.
Petaluma Blvd North between Corona Road and US 101. Southbound is open from Bailey to Corona.
Industrial Drive between Corona Road and Petaluma Blvd North.
Auto Center Drive between Industrial Drive and Petaluma Blvd North.
The intersection of Clegg and Holm Road.
North McDowell Extension between Willowbrook and Old Redwood Hwy.
Southbound US 101 at Petaluma Blvd North exit will be detoured to McDowell Blvd.
Northbound US 101 at Old Redwood Hwy exit will be detoured to McDowell Blvd.
Motorist attempting to travel northbound on 101 from McDowell can enter the freeway from Old Redwood Hwy entrance.
Residents of Leisure Lake Village Mobile Park currently cannot exit the park by vehicle due to flooding. Police personnel are standing by at the entrance to the park in case of any emergency needs. Denman Lane leading to the park from Stony Point Road is flooded and Stony Point Road is also flooded. Park Management are notifying all the residents.
The flood waters are slowly receding. A high tide is expected at approx. 7:52 am, that may slow the pace of the receding water. Several businesses near Petaluma Blvd North and Stony Point Road, along Auto Center Drive and Industrial Drive are closed due to flooding. The police department conducted two rescues of persons trapped in a flooded business and another in a car during the night. There were no injuries.
