Today at approximately 1:00 p.m. officers responded to a single vehicle injury collision at the intersection of Mowry Ave and Logan Dr. The driver of the vehicle collided with a traffic signal box, and all traffic signals lost power as a result.
Technicians are currently on scene replacing the signal box, but we unfortunately don't have an estimated time of when the work will be completed. Street Maintenance will be deploying stop signs and the intersection will be treated as a 4-way stop until power can be restored. Its suggested that motorists use alternative routes as delays may be significant.
The driver was transported to a trauma center to be treated for their injuries.
