This is an advisory from the Marin County Sheriff’s Office. Roads between Inverness and Point Reyes are closed.  Residents of Inverness should stay off roads in that area until flooding subsides and crews can reopen the roads. 
 
NEVER drive through flooded roadways. Whether walking or driving, anytime you come to a flooded area, TURN AROUND and DON’T DROWN.  It only takes six inches of water to stall a vehicle.
 
For sandbag information, call 2-1-1.  For road status information, call 5-1-1.  Please only call 9-1-1 if you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency.
 
To report new area flooding, mudslides or downed trees, please call the public works department at 415-473-6528.
