Flood Warning until 01:00AM Thursday

Russian River near Hopland affecting Mendocino County Navarro River at Navarro affecting Mendocino County Eel River at Fernbridge affecting Humboldt County Heaviest rains have spread south across Mendocino County and will persist through the tomorrow morning leading to a lull in precipitation across the northern area. Moderate to heavy rain will spread back north over Humboldt and Trinity Counties by Tuesday afternoon. The Flood Warning continues for The Russian River near Hopland.

* until late Wednesday night...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 9:00 PM Monday, the stage was 15.2 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* FORECAST...This river is Forecast to rise above monitor stage of 18.0 FT and flood stage of 21.0 FT late this evening then expected to crest near 22.7 FT early Tuesday morning then forecast to fall below flood stage of 21.0 FT Tuesday morning then forecast to peak near flood stage of 21.0 FT late Tuesday night the forecast to fall below monitor stage of 18.0 FT late Wednesday morning then forecast to recede below 15.0 FT Wednesday night and continue receding.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Flooding of farmland, buildings and homes in low lying areas in Hopland will begin. Flooding will also begin in the Ukiah and Talmage area. Highway 175 near the Russian River will be closed due to flooding. buildings and homes in low lying areas in Hopland and begins in the Ukiah and Talmage area.
