Suspect Sought in Sunday Shooting
Arrest warrant issued in death of Danville resident
Danville Police are currently seeking Mark Allan Sypien, 51, in connection with the Sunday shooting death of Danville resident John Moore.
Police Chief Allan Shields said an arrest warrant for murder has been issued for Sypien in the incident. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’09”, 185 lbs, with grey hair and green eyes. His last known address is in the Dublin area. He was last seen driving a 2003 Silver Ford Escape with Illinois license plate 1008122. (photos of Sypien and the vehicle are attached)
Sypien is suspected of shooting John Moore, 76, in the parking lot of 3470 Fostoria Way.
