Caltrans will close one-half mile of the southbound lane of Topanga Cyn Blvd, between Grand View Dr and PCH, Monday through Thursday, February 25-28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for slope stabilization work. One-way traffic control measures will be in place for the public during the closure time. 

All work is weather permitting and subject to change. 

Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes. The town of Topanga will remain open to motorists. Check Caltrans QuickMap for updated traffic advisories.

The construction assessment and environmental survey work is part of an emergency contract to stabilize the slope and make roadway repairs on Topanga Cyn Blvd where several mud and rock slides have occurred on the hillsides in recent months that caused full closures of the highway.
