National Weather Service has issued a HIGH WIND WARNING for LUMBERTON TWP until 6:00 PM MON, 2/25/19. Strong winds expected Sunday night into Monday in the wake of a cold front associated with a developing surface low moving from the Great Lakes into New England. Southerly winds will be on the increase Sunday ahead of the cold front, further increasing as they turn to a westerly direction behind the front to 20-25 mph, with gusts possibly reaching the 30-40 mph range. It will remain windy Sunday night into Monday afternoon, with gusts Monday possibly exceeding 45-50 mph. The strongest winds are expected to occur from just before daybreak Monday through the early afternoon hours. Peak gusts may exceed 55 mph in some locations Monday morning, especially in PA and central/northern NJ.  Gusts up to 55 MPH are possible in the Lumberton/Medford region$$. A weather warning indicates conditions exist for severe or damaging weather.
