Full Notification

This message is from the Township of Fairfield regarding the upcoming revaluation. The State of New Jersey and the County of Essex have ordered us to conduct a revaluation of all properties.  Critical to this process to ensure accuracy are the property inspections.  Beginning next week and continuing into the fall, the appraisers will be visiting each and every property in the Township.  They will not call in advance to set up an appointment and if no one is home, they will leave a card for you to call and schedule an appointment. Your cooperation is essential since if a physical inspection is not done, the appraiser will assume the highest values in each category, and in all likelihood you will probably receive a higher assessment.
