Couple arrested after deputies find the husband walking through an apartment complex with a metal pole, a screwdriver and a pry bar

LOCATION: 7900 block of Etiwanda Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT: Anthony Ci Fuentes, 27-years-old from San Bernardino
Michelle Jauregui, 27-years-old from San Bernardino
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:26 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to the 7900 block of Etiwanda Avenue for a report of a suspicious person. A resident saw an unknown male walking through the apartment complex with a metal pipe. Deputies located Anthony Ci Fuentes walking through the west side of the complex and he had a metal pole, a screwdriver and a pry bar on him and was found to be on probation. Michelle Jauregui contacted the deputies and advised them she is Ci Fuentes’ wife. Jauregui had two outstanding warrants for her arrest.
The deputies backtracked the two suspects and found they had broken into a vacant apartment and had gathered belongings inside it. The deputies discovered numerous garages were broken into with the metal pipe and screwdriver. Ci Fuentes and Jauregui were arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
