Dense Fog Advisory until 12:00PM

An unseasonably warm and moist air mass, along with light winds, will keep areas of dense fog, especially near the coast. The fog is expected to lift with visibilities improving by noon. The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until noon CST today.

* VISIBILITY...one quarter mile or less.

* IMPACTS...hazardous travel conditions.

* AFFECTED AREAS: EVANGELINE ... BEAUREGARD ... RAPIDES ... AVOYELLES ... ALLEN ... VERNON ... ST. LANDRY

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
