The Police search on the 900 block of Heinz Avenue has concluded. 
On February 21st at 5:59 pm, officers responded to the 900 block of Heinz Street after receiving calls about a man firing a gun in or around a van. While on the telephone call, police dispatchers could hear the gunfire as well.
When officers arrived, they located the van in a parking lot near the corner of Heinz and Seventh Street. Using a loud speaker, officers were able to convince the man to come out of the vehicle—where he was safely taken into custody.
Officers are still in the area conducting further investigation into this incident.
