Suspects arrested trying to sell stolen property 
Today at approximately 1:00PM, the victim of a residential burglary contacted SVPD Officers. He told them that the tools that were stolen from his garage were now for sale on Letgo.com.
Detectives along with officers from the Narcotics Unit assisted with the investigation. At approximately 2:45 PM, the suspects drove to a location in Simi Valley to sell their stolen property to an awaiting "buyer". At that time they were taken into custody and the stolen property was recovered.
The suspects, Corey Garrelts 29yrs and Brittany Love 21yrs were booked in jail for a Felony charge of Possession of Stolen Property.
Its a good day when a plan comes together and good people get their stuff back!
