The Williamsville Police department has been made aware that the phone scams where people impersonate IRS, Social Security, or other organizations to attempt to get personal information from individuals.  As a reminder NEVER give out personal information over the phone (i.e. date of birth, SS#, place of birth, address).  When you receive a call like these just hang up, do not press any button options.  Chief Edwards
