Accumulating snowfall expected to begin this morning. Plan accordingly as evening travel may be impacted.
The Morristown Police are monitoring a weather system that is expected to result in an accumulating snowfall starting this morning and continuing into this evening. According to the latest forecasts from the National Weather Service, Morristown could see snow totals between 2-4 inches with a strong chance of icing up to one tenth of an inch as we approach the evening rush hour.
Governor Murphy has declared a State of Emergency as of 5:00am this morning. As a result, we would urge all residents to restrict travel as the storm begins to assist emergency responders and department of public works snow crews.
