Evansville sex offender arrested for failing to comply with sex offender registry requirements. 
On February 19, 2019, at 12:09 p.m. Sergeant Bruce Vanoven conducted a sex offender registry compliance check at the Dennys Restaurant located at 844 E. 1250 South near Haubstadt, Indiana. At the conclusion of his investigation Sgt. Vanoven placed 40 year old Troy Maggard of Evansville, Indian into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Maggard was charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. He remains in custody on a $750 bond.
