* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation of snow, sleet, and freezing rain possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches, with locally higher amounts of up to 8 inches possible. Ice accumulations of up to one half of an inch possible at elevations above 2500 feet, with ice accumulations of two to four tenths of an inch elsewhere.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast and southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
