LOCATION: 56000 block of Twentynine Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley

SUSPECT: Lucas Clavet, 22 years old, resident of Yucca Valley

VICTIM(S): Confidential

SUMMARY:
On Saturday, February 9, 2019, at approximately 6:19 p.m., Deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to the 56000 block of Twentynine Palms Hwy in Yucca Valley, reference a domestic disturbance. Deputies contacted the victim who stated Lucas Clavet knocked on the front door of the residence, and when the victim answered the door, Clavet pushed his way inside. Clavet grabbed their child and the car seat and walked out to the parking lot. The victim followed Clavet to the parking lot and attempted to grab the child from his hands, at which point Clavet headbutted the victim's face causing swelling, redness and bleeding to her nose. Clavet left the area in his vehicle before deputies arrived and his whereabout were unknown at the time. The victim said Clavet agreed to return their child and he arranged the child's return.

On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, Deputy Herrera arrested Clavet while he was attempting to check in with probation. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for domestic violence with bail set at $50,000. He was also booked for a violation of probation with a no bail hold.
