Precipitation is expected to develop across the Mid-South later today and tonight. As colder air moves into the region, some of the precipitation will change over to freezing rain over northern portions of the Mid-South.
* WHAT...Freezing rain expected. The ice will result in very slippery conditions on sidewalks, roads and bridges. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected.
* WHERE...Portions of West Tennessee, East Arkansas and Southeast Missouri.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 3 AM CST Saturday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Impacts are not expected to last too long as temperatures will rise above freezing Saturday morning.
