Milling Operations on Portion of Wilson Avenue 
The Township of Aberdeen is continually making improvements to the public infrastructure system in an effort to better serve the residents of the Township. We are pleased to inform you that The Department of Public Works (DPW) will be commencing an emergency repair on a portion of Wilson Avenue, between Monastery Lane and the bridge over the creek (approx. ¼ mile long) including milling and paving operations. Milling operations will take place on Thursday, February 14th and Friday, February 15th between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm, depending on weather conditions.
Paving will not commence until the weather reaches higher temperatures, such as 50 degrees for a few consecutive days. Unfortunately, we are in the middle of the winter and this may not be currently feasible. However, we feel that by milling this portion of the road, potholes will be reduced drastically and the riding surface will improve.
We apologize for the short notice, but given the circumstances the township believes that this situation must be addressed. We will make every effort to minimize any inconvenience during construction. If you have any questions, please forward them to:
