Winter Weather Advisory until 04:00PM

* WHAT...Bands of lake effect snow showers will continue to impact areas between the M-59 and I-94 corridors into the afternoon hours. Some of these snow showers will be locally intense and capable of dropping visibilities to a half mile or less. Additional accumulations of up to an inch will be possible, with peak snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour. Blowing snow will also be possible outside of snow shower activity with gusts of 30 to 40 mph.

* WHERE...Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be locally very hazardous due to rapidly dropping visibilities in snow showers and snow covered roadways. Expect hazardous travel conditions for the morning commute.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WASHTENAW ... WAYNE ... OAKLAND ... LIVINGSTON ... MACOMB
