* WHAT...Snow showers will move into the area overnight and persist well into the morning. Some of these snow showers will be intense and capable of dropping visibilities to near zero. Accumulations will range from a half inch up to 2 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. In addition, southwest winds will gust over 40 MPH at times, leading to some blowing of the fresh snow that falls.
* WHERE...St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties.
* WHEN...Until noon EST Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be hazardous due to rapidly dropping visibilities in snow showers.
