From Tuesday night starting at 10 p.m. until 10 a.m. Thursday, heavy rain and a High Wind Warning with possible 50+ MPH wind gusts, will affect communities in the San Francisco Bay Area including all of San Mateo County. Rain will cause impacts including ponding water and possible flooding of roadways Rapid rises in creeks, streams and street gutters. Expect longer commute times, especially on Wednesday. There is also an increased threat of mud, rock and mudslides.
