The City of Fremont is monitoring a powerful storm system that is expected to move into the area from 10:00 PM Tuesday night until 10:00 AM Thursday morning.  A Flash Flood Watch and High Wind Warning have been issued for the San Francisco Bay Region, including Fremont.  The storm is expected to produce rain up to 2 inches and sustained winds of 25-35 mph with the strong gusts up to 60 mph.  Anticipated impacts include localized flooding, high winds causing downed trees, commute traffic and the potential for landslides and power outages.
