Canyon Country (West) Crime Information and Public Safety Report for January 21-27, 2019

The following crimes were reported:

Grand Theft (Vehicle) - 27200 block Golden Willow Way
Person(s) unknown stole a 1990 Acura Integra parked at the location. 

Petty Theft - 27200 block Golden Valley Road
The victim was approached by suspect who asked for money. When the victim placed wallet on vehicle and reached into pocket to retrieve some cash, the suspect grabbed the victim’s wallet and ran through the parking lot and out of view. 

Robbery - 19300 block Soledad Canyon Road
The victim was in a parking lot when the suspect approached, asking the victim a question. The suspect got into the victim’s vehicle, reached into the victim’s pocket, and stole U.S. currency from the victim’s pocket. 

Petty Theft - 27200 block Camp Plenty Road
Person(s) unknown stole items from the victim’s purse during an appointment. 

Vehicle Burglary - 15800 block Cedarfort Drive
Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s locked vehicle and stole items. There were no signs of forced entry. 

Vehicle Burglary - Jakes Way / Canyon Park Boulevard 
Person(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s locked vehicle and stole items. 

Petty Theft - 26800 block Sierra Highway
The suspect entered the business and selected a bottle of alcohol. The suspect walked out of the location making no attempt to pay. 

Residential Burglary - 17600 block Lynn Court
Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked residence and stole items. 

Grand Theft- 27300 block Sara Street
The victim’s relative stole items prior to moving out of the residence. 

Petty Theft - 19100 block Golden Valley Road
The suspect was observed with store merchandise in a shopping cart. The suspect walked out of the location making no attempts to pay for the items. The suspect was arrested. 

Petty Theft - 27300 block Sierra Highway
Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked car and stole items.
