WHO:    Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Captain James Tatreau, Norwalk station, and station personnel.
                          
WHAT:  Norwalk Station will be hosting the 1^st Warrant Clearing Event.  The purpose of the event is to allow those who have Los Angeles County warrants to participate and be issued a new court date, removing the warrant from the system. For many, this will be a fresh start and remove the fear of going to jail for an oftentimes old warrant. 
 

• Eligible warrants: Traffic and non-violent misdemeanors. 
• Non-eligible warrants:
  • Felonies
  • Drug possession and theft, forgery, shoplifting, receiving stolen property which does not exceed $950.
  • Warrants related to domestic violence, firearms or resisting arrest
  • Warrants related to a restraining or court orders
  • MUST BRING VALID PHOTO ID
