Dense Fog Advisory until 10:00AM Thursday

Sea fog continues to persist along the immediate coast and downwind of the cooler coastal waters. Significant improvement is not expected until southerly winds increase during the day tomorrow. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CST this morning.

* VISIBILITY...1/4 mile or less.

* DURATION...through mid-morning Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Greatly reduced visibilities to affect travel safety.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ORLEANS ... UPPER JEFFERSON ... LIVINGSTON ... ST. CHARLES ... ST. TAMMANY ... SOUTHERN TANGIPAHOA ... UPPER ST. BERNARD ... ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down... use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
