Freeze Warning until 09:00AM Thursday 
The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from midnight tonight to 9 AM PST Thursday. The Freeze Watch that was in effect from late tonight into Thursday morning was upgraded to a Freeze Warning.
* MINIMUM TEMPERATURES...27 to 32 degrees with temperatures as low as 24 degrees in the normally coldest spots. Sub freezing temperatures are most likely occur to outside of the major urban areas for a period of 4 to 8 hours.
* TIMING...The coldest temperatures are expected between 2 am PST and 8 am PST.
* IMPACTS...Frost and Freezing temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHWESTERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY ... WEST-CENTRAL SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY ... SOUTHEASTERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY ... EAST-CENTRAL SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY
Instructions:
Remember the three P's when it comes to protection from harshly cold temperatures...Pets, Plants and Pipes. Bring your pets indoors, cover sensitive outdoor plants and insulate water pipes with protective tape. A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
