Sheriff Gonzalez and HCSO Homicide Unit to Host Press Conference at Crime Stoppers
When: Tomorrow, February 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.
Where: Crime Stoppers of Houston, 3001 Main Street, Houston, TX 77002
Who: Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, members of the HCSO Homicide unit and family members of Elizabeth Barraza.
On Friday, January 25, 2019, at approximately 6:55am, HCCO Pct. 4 patrol units were dispatched to shots fired call at 8623 Cedar Walk Dr. Upon arrival, an adult female now identified as Elizabeth “ Liz “ Barraza, 29, was found shot in the driveway at said location.
The complainant was transported to Memorial Hermann with multiple GSWs.
An unknown suspect fled the scene in a dark colored pickup truck.
On January 26, 2109, at approximately 1:40 pm, Barraza died as a result of her injuries.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide took over the investigation.
