Josiah Cosner of Yucaipa is arrested for vehicle theft and possession of a stolen vehicle

SUMMARY:
On February 4, 2019, at approximately 6:40 am, Deputy E. Juarez located, recovered and towed a stolen vehicle which had been crashed
into a wall near an entrance to an undeveloped parcel at the end of Hampton Rd.
The investigation identified Josiah Cosner as the suspect responsible for the theft. Cosner was contacted by deputies in the early morning hours of February 5th in the area of Hampton Rd and Overcrest. Cosner was detained without incident and, through continued investigation, deputies linked Cosner to a second stolen vehicle that was recovered nearby.
Cosner was arrested and transported to Central Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
