Dense Fog Advisory until 12:00PM

Persistent sea fog blanketing the area will take a little longer to finally burn off heading into the afternooon over land areas. Fog will likely remain throughout the day on the area waterways. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until noon CST today.

* VISIBILITY...One-quarter mile or less.

* DURATION...through noon.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions, particularly near bodies of water.
