6:45 AM - All freeways remain open including Hwy 58, Hwy 14.
Higher elevations such as Tehachapi received snow overnight.
Roadway conditions through these area area are icy.
Only school closures in our area is the Tehachapi unified schools district - Due to snow.
No other school concerns have been reported.
City’s Emergency Communication Center will monitor weather and roadway conditions and will update for the next 24 hours as needed.
Reminder to drivers to drive with headlights on especially in adverse weather and allow extra stopping distance.
