(San Andreas, CA) On 2-4-19 at approx. 0250 hours CCSO Deputies responded to a residence in the 600 block of Pope Street in San Andreas for a possible physical altercation. A caller to CCSO Dispatch reported that 45 year old Donovan Agasi (of San Andreas) was at that location and possibly causing harm to the resident, a 69 year old female. Upon arrival Deputies detained Donovan Agasi and located the female injured inside the residence. Through investigation Deputies determined that the female had been struck in the head with a hammer causing major injury. The female was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Donovan Agasi was booked in to the Calaveras County Jail on charges of 664/187(a)PC-Attempted Murder, 245(a)(1)PC-Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and 368(a)PC-Elder Abuse with $1,000,000 bail. No further information is available at this time.
