* Flood Warning for The Vermilion River near Leonore.
* from Tuesday morning to late Wednesday night.
* At 1145 AM Monday the stage was 12.7 feet and was ice affected.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Tuesday morning and continue to rise to near 17.0 feet by Tuesday evening.The river will fall below flood stage by Wednesday evening. Ice jams can result in rapid rises in water levels with little or no warning.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LA SALLE, IL

Safety message...River levels may fluctuate rapidly due to ice with little or no warning. Residents in low lying flood prone areas should remain alert for possible flooding due to ice jams.
