Snow levels will generally be above 5000 feet today then lower to pass level this evening before ending up near 3000 feet Tuesday morning. Accumulating snow could fall as low as 2000 feet by late Tuesday night. Snow amounts will range from a dusting to a few inches between 3000 feet and 4000 feet to 8 to 12 inches above 5000 feet by Tuesday night. * WHERE...Kern County Mountains including Tehachapi Pass and the Grapevine through Tejon Pass. * WHEN...Through 4 AM PST Wednesday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Motorists should anticipate worsening travel conditions through Tuesday night with accumulating snow through the mountain passes along with potentially treacherous driving conditions. Motorists may encounter lengthy travel delays and possible road closures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
