Dense Fog Advisory until 12:00PM Monday
Patchy to areas of dense fog already over the near shore waters will likely expand this evening across inland areas. Dense fog will likely be patchy in some areas however the thickest fog will be closer to the coast and over river drainage basins. Fog will likely be very slow to dissipate and may not right along the coast. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect from 8 PM this evening to noon CST Monday.
* VISIBILITY...quarter of a mile or less at times.
* IMPACTS...Low visibilities will create hazardous driving conditions. Thickest fog will be near the coasts but visibility may drop suddenly in more patchy areas.
