Advisory

High Wind Warning until 11:00PM

A storm system to our west will bring strong to locally high winds today across the east slopes of the central mountains and adjacent eastern highlands, onto portions of the eastern plains. The strongest winds will be over the northern peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the east slopes of the Sangres, where a high winds warning exists. Winds will peak early to mid afternoon before decreasing as cloud cover increases. Localized blowing snow is likely on the mountain peaks.
