Due to frigid temperatures, Code Blue will be in effect for the evening of Friday, February 1

Accordingly, the Henry Guest House, located at 58 Livingston Avenue (next to the New Brunswick Free Public Library) will be open overnight as a warming center from 7 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. Saturday.

Code Blue goes into effect when temperatures dip below 20 degrees and/or there is an accumulation of at least six inches of snow on the ground. Warming centers are opened to provide a warm and dry place for residents without adequate shelter.

Please be advised that we attempt to accommodate all guests but space is limited. Doors will close at capacity or at 9 p.m.

Volunteers are sought to assist with Code Blue shelter staffing. For more information, please click here.
