...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM CST /3 PM EST/
THIS AFTERNOON TO 3 AM CST /4 AM EST/ FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills of -25 to -45 below zero
this morning. Snow for the mid afternoon through early overnight
with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches and locally higher
expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana and central, east central, north
central and northeast Illinois.

* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Warning, until noon CST /1 PM EST/
today. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 2 PM CST /3 PM
EST/ this afternoon to 3 AM CST /4 AM EST/ Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The dangerously cold wind chills could
cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Plan
on slippery road conditions from mid afternoon through early
overnight. The hazardous conditions will impact the evening
commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Warning means the combination of very cold air and
the wind will create dangerously low wind chill values. Frostbite
can occur quickly and even hypothermia or death if precautions
are not taken.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving
