Extreme cold temps expected over next 24 hrs. Plan accordingly and take preventative steps. 
The Morristown Bureau of Police is cautioning residents about a period of extreme cold weather which will be impacting our area over the next 24 hours. According to the National Weather Service, a wind chill advisory is in effect from 11:00am this morning until 10:00am tomorrow with strong wind causing temperatures to feel like 15 to 20 degrees below zero.
The Morristown warming center will be open at the Firehouse at 161 Speedwell Avenue from 4:30pm until 8:30pm for those who need someplace to escape the weather.
