On 1-28-19, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Mrs. Sahouria was located, safe, in another jurisdiction. Mrs. Sahouria was provided assistance from the local police department. Thank you for your attention on this matter.

The San Mateo Police Department is looking to locate and check on Despina Sahouria, a 40-year-old San Mateo resident. Despina was reported missing by her family on Monday, January 28, 2019. She was last seen in San Mateo on Friday, January 25, 2019, at around 3 p.m. and Despina’s family advised SMPD that she was very despondent in her most recent communication with them. A photograph was taken of her at that time and is attached to this press release.
Despina has a connection in Lakeport, CA and may be in the area. Lakeport PD has also been made aware of Despina disappearance. Anyone locating Despina is urged to contact your local law enforcement agency, so we may check her welfare.
