Winter Weather Advisory until 09:00AM Tuesday

The tail end of an arctic cold front will move through tonight with rain changing over the snow for a brief period of time. Accumulations of up to one inch will be possible, especially on elevated surfaces or grassy areas. This may cause hazardous driving conditions, especially on elevated roadways, bridges, and overpasses. An accumulated snow is expected to melt by mid-morning Tuesday as temperatures rise above freezing.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to one half inch are possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest and west central Louisiana and southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 9 AM CST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute on Tuesday. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
