Advisory

No parking on snow emergency routes is still in effect. Plow operations continue as snow falls!

A question arose in regards to when a vehicle can return and park on a snow emergency route.

Parking of vehicles on designated snow emergency routes, boulevards, cul-de-sacs, and dead-end streets is completely prohibited during the period of a snow emergency until plowing of both sides of the snow emergency routes, boulevards, cul-de-sacs, and dead-end streets has been completed.

Vehicles can only return to the aforementioned designated streets after the City of Sheboygan announces the end to snow emergency operations and the plowing of those aforementioned designated streets is complete.

The current continuing weather conditions is a good example of the snow emergency still being in effect and snow plow operators continuing to plow the aforementioned designated streets due to continued accumulation.  Plowing has not been completed thus parking is prohibited.
