The following crimes were reported:

1/5/19 
Grand Theft Auto – 26400 block Fairgate Avenue
The victim’s brother took the victim’s vehicle without permission. Vehicle recovered on 1/19/19.

1/5/19 
Grand Theft Auto – Edmonds Place/  Heller Circle
Unknown suspect stole the victim’s locked vehicle (1997 Green Chevy Tahoe).

1/9/19
Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon (BB Gun) – 28100 block Robin Avenue While the victim was doing her laundry, an unknown suspect, walked up behind the victim and attacked her. The unknown suspect than shot the victim in the back with a BB Gun and fled the location (NFD).

1/11/19
Burglary (commercial) – 26500  block Bouquet Canyon Road
Two suspects stole phones and other items from the store and got into a getaway vehicle with a third suspect.

1/12/19
Petty Theft – 27600 block Haskell Canyon Road
The victim’s iPhone order went to the wrong address and was signed for by an unknown suspect.

1/14 /19
Burglary (Residential) – 19700 block Paige Place
Unknown suspect(s) shattered the rear sliding glass door to the residence and jewelry was taken.

1/17/19
Burglary (Residential) – 19500  block Castille Lane 
Unknown suspect(s) shattered the rear sliding glass door to the residence and unknown items were taken.

1/18/19
Burglary (Residential) – 22500 block Barcotta Drive
Unknown suspect(s) entered the unlocked residence and stole several pieces of jewelry and a Winchester knife.

The residents are our 'eyes and ears' in the community. As you are out for a walk or driving to or from your residence, look around and see if you notice anything suspicious. If you do, call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station at (661) 255-1121, or 911 if it is emergent. Our deputies are out in full force and have keen situational awareness but unfortunately, they cannot be everywhere at once. With your help/tips, we can keep Santa Clarita Valley safe.
