Simi Valley Police arrest gang member with loaded shotgun.

On 1/26/19, just a little before midnight, Simi Valley Police Officers responded to a radio call of several subjects on or about the bridge located at View Line Drive and the Dump Access Road. Upon their arrival, the officers observed numerous, fresh gang graffiti and "taggings" on the bridge walls, underneath the bridge, and on several signs near the area. SVPD Officers detained several subjects in a vehicle and as the investigation continued to unfold it was discovered the driver of the vehicle, Simi Valley resident Eduardo Cardona (8/16/99) possessed a loaded shotgun.
Cardona was arrested and booked for felony vandalism, conspiracy to commit a felony, possessing a loaded firearm inside a vehicle and was also charged with a gang enhancement. Cardona's brother, Carlos Cardona (8/16/99) and another male, Luis Lucas-Cardona (1/27/00) were arrested and booked for felony vandalism, conspiracy to commit a felony, as well as being charged with gang enhancements.
