Today at 3:19 PM Simi Valley Police Officers attempted a traffic stop on a known Felony Warrant suspect. The suspect, Richard Ceja 22 yrs, is a documented gang member with a history of running from the police.

Upon the traffic stop, Ceja fled from the vehicle in an attempt to elude the officers. Two officers along with Police K9 Bolt gave chase. Ceja was apprehended by K9 Bolt and taken into custody.


Ceja was transported to the hospital where he received treatment for minor injuries. Ceja was booked at Ventura Main Jail for a Felony Warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to evade the Police.
